Use the Places feature to add a list of managed geolocated sites.
The Places feature allows app users to get directions and find specific sites which are organized from nearest to farthest.



Setup the Google Maps API before using Places.
Click Places to add the module:

Add Category
Every Place can have one or more categories assigned.
- In the Categories tab, click + to add a new category.

- Enter a Name.
- Enter a Description.
- Upload an image file
A transparent PNG is recommended.
- Click Save
Add Place
- Click + to add a place.

- Enter Title
- Optionally enter Subtitle.
- Optionally upload an image and thumbnail.
- Click Display image in page to show the uploaded image on the category layout.
- Click Display title and subtitle in page to show on the category layout.
- Add Tags.
- Select the Categories.
- Optionally Add Sections to display additional content.
- Enter the address Label.

- Enter all of the address information and coordinates (Google will try to autocomplete).
- Optionally enter Phone Number.
- Check Display phone to see it on the listing page.
- Enter Website.
- Check Display website to see it on the listing page.
- Check Display address to see it on the listing page.
- Check Display location button to allow a user to map a route to this place.
- Click Save.
Settings & Options
- Set the Default page option from the drop-down.

- All places will sort by distance (if the device has GPS enabled).
- Categories will display a list of the available categoires.
- Select the Default layout from the drop-down.
- Select the Distance unit from the drop-down.
